I honestly though I was gonna pass out. Seriously, I've never seen Tori so alive and wonderful!
The artist who opened for her was Yoav. He came on the dark stage alone and stood in the tiny spotlight. I wasn't impressed just then. But when he picked up his guitar he totally blew me away. He did those kinds of beats with his guitar by hitting it in different ways. It sounded almost aboriginal. His voice sounds like a mix of the voices of Damien Rice and the singer of Coldplay. His music was honestly breathtaking. I think everybody loved him. Very much opening-at-Tori's-concert worthy. His album's not out yet but when it comes out I'm buying it for sure!
So then the lights went on when Yoav left the stage so we waited around a quarter of an hour. Until the lights went out and the whole stage was illuminated in a purple glow. Her band first came on stage, started playing a bit of whatever. Then she came on stage as Isabel, smoking a cigarette, wearing whitish blonde hair, this purple skirt and shirt that resembles the one that she wears on the cover of the album. She was mysterious and sexy as all hell. So she smoked a bit and walked over to the piano, sat. She played Yo George as the introductory song. Then she continued with a couple ADP songs such as Almost Rosey. She slipped in between two songs In the Sprintime of His Voodoo which was really good but didn't sound like the original version much. She played another couple ADP songs. She played later on Crucify and Sugar which were both gorgeous and a few other songs. The she went off stage while her boys kept playing music, Professional Widow to be exact, Tales of a Librarian style with a cool light show. Meanwhile, I guess she was changing 'cause when she came back on stage, she was as her character Tori, with beautiful red hair and this glittering suit. She played Big Wheel first thing when she got back. Humping the piano bench as ever and totally hot! Then she played Devils and Gods after that I believe in a really weird theatrical way. She then spoke to us. Said she couldn't "speak French worth a fuck" which got a laugh out of the audience and then she introduced her band members. Afterwards, she played one of her most popular live songs Cornflake Girl which just blew my mind. Her piano solos were absolutely remarkable. She'd stand up and totally tame the piano! And then she played some more great great songs such as Playboy Mommy, Caught a Lite Sneeze and such. She eventually ended up alone on stage. She played then Baker, Baker and this other song I didn't know that kept mentioning Washington Square or whatnot... it was excellent anywho. She then played this song specifically addressed to French-speaking people. It was hilarious. She tried speaking French throughout but it just sounded horrible. She said something about when you're in the presence of French-speaking people you do the sexiest craziest things. And said something about her tattoo, which I didn't quite catch. Then eventually her band came back. She played Spark and a few other ADP songs. After Code Red they left the stage. We applauded and screeched and yelled until they came back. She then played the most amazing song ever, Precious Things! It was like in a dream honestly just absolutely fantastic. After that song they left again. We begged again. She came back with Tear in Your Hand which was very touching. And left again (she's such a tease). And came back and finished then with Hey Jupiter which was just superb and lullaby-ish... very soothing but amazing all the same. Throughout the whole concert, she played all the best songs. All my favourites anyway. She was just really inspired that night I guess. She'd be standing or humping the bench or having a foot on the bench but standing on one leg playing both pianos at the same time. You name it! I truly feel that she poured her soul into that performance. And I'm really thankful for that.

And the meteors just what we see;
And the meteoroids a bone thrown from the void, that lies quiet in offering to thee.
